How to Thrive and not just Survive Life’s Toughest Challenges

Saturday, 14 April 2012 18:20 Written by keiron

Over the last few years I have had cause to reflect back on my near-fatal accident in 2006 that resulted in the loss of my left hand and ponder why it is that I have coped so well? How have I thrived and not just survived one of my life’s toughest challenges? And are there learnings I could be sharing to help others?

This has been spurred on by the fact that I’ve found myself on occasion to be in the privileged position of being able to share aspects of my story with people who were themselves facing challenges in their lives and it seems to have been a useful metaphor.

And so I begin a journey to see if I can distill my experiences on thriving through adversity and answer the question “How do you Thrive and not just Survive Life’s Toughest Challenges?”

…you’ll read about it first here on my blog and who knows, maybe one day it’ll even make it in to a book…I’ll keep you posted!
